So, it's Brittney again. Earlier tonight, Nate was outside with the kids picking up to come in and noticed Brittney's shoes outside. Not knowing how long they had been there, he asked her about them. She said "They stay outside, dad. They are my camping shoes." Okay, as I am typing this, it isn't nearly as funny as it was at the time. Oh the mind of a 3 year old! Gotta love it!!!

Too Cute
So our little Brittney has come down with a little cough, 'tis the season. Tonight at dinner she was coughing very dramatically. I reminded her that she needed to cover her mouth when she coughed. She promptly replied, "It's not a cough, it's sick!"

Yesterday we were coming home from church and the kids noticed this big, puffy, beautiful white cloud in the sky. Braden got really excited and told everyone that was where heaven was. Then they started chanting, "Billy, Billy, Billy." Billy was our little beagle hound we had while we were living in Texas. He was taken by the wrath of a car only 3 days after moving back to Idaho. The kids talk about him quite a bit, even though we now have our little Schnauzer, Snowflake. It is so much fun to see a little insight on how their little minds think and to get at least a little glimpse of maybe as parents, we are leading them in the right direction. When we got home, they had to show their dad their "Heaven cloud." It was a sweet little moment in an incredible day of chaos!

With all the excitement of Halloween comes the big mess of carving pumpkins. The kids (mom and dad) had a lot of fun with their pumpkins but not so much the cleaning of the "yucky stuff." Brie decided they should make hollow pumpkins so we wouldn't have to clean them out anymore :) Snowflake even had fun eating anything that fell to the floor. Brie got to be the "cameraperson" while the rest of us got messy! She loved that!

Happy Halloween
We had our ward Trunk-Or-Treat on Saturday night. Lots of good food, good people, and good times :) The kids had a blast getting to put on their costumes that have been hanging in my closet for several weeks now!
Brie's Haunted House
For Achievement Days, the girls got to make Haunted Gingerbread Houses. I thought it was an excellent idea and Brianna had a blast! She has even shared some of the candy ;)
